About Us

	Mark Miller has been the agent/owner of the agency since 1979. His grandfather founded the agency in 1946. Mark received his Real Estate Broker license in November of 2004. Mark is a graduate of Illinois State University. He has lived his entire life in the Colfax area. He and his wife Jan have two children. Email Mark Miller
	Jay Kiefer has been with the Miller Insurance Agency since 2002. He obtained his Property and Casualty, Health, and Life Insurance licenses in October 2002. Jay received his Real Estate Salesperson license in April of 2005. Jay also has 25 years experience in the grain farming and swine industries. Jay is married to Heidi Kiefer and has five children and two grandchildren. He has lived in the Central Illinois area all his life. Email Jay Kiefer
	Becky Carden moved to the area in May of 1981 and has been with the agency since March of 2000. She has obtained her license in all four lines of insurance; Property, Casualty, Life and Health. Becky specializes in commercial lines but also works with personal lines and Bonds. Becky and her husband have two children and four grandchildren. Becky loves spending time with her family, camping, and watching NASCAR. Email Becky Carden
	Megan joined the Miller Insurance Agency in November of 2002. Megan is licensed in all lines of insurance, but focuses primarily on clients auto and home needs. Her goal is to provide her clients with the knowledge and comfort in knowing they are insured properly in case of a loss. She understands that the insurance industry is a competitive business...that is why she goes the extra mile to make sure you are not only a client but also a friend. Megan grew up in Streator, Illinois. She moved to the Bloomington area in 2001. She is married and has one son who keeps her very busy! She enjoys cheering on the ILLINI, the outdoors, fall weather, gathering with friends, and relaxing on long Sunday's with her family! Email Megan Harris
	Jon has been with Miller Insurance since 2006. He is licensed in all lines of insurance but specializes in personal lines auto and home. Jon is currently working full time at the agency and attending Lincoln College in Normal, working towards his Bachelor's degree in Business. Jon has lived in Colfax his entire life and enjoys golfing and taking his Jeep to the Badlands. Email Jon Miller
	Samantha Wyant has been an Agent with Miller Insurance Agency since 2004. She focuses mainly on group and individual life and health business, although she is licensed in all lines. Samantha, her husband, and their 3 daughters live in rural Cooksville. They enjoy spending time with grandparents and cousins and especially any activity that gets them outdoors. She is a member of the St. Patrick's Church of Merna and an active supporter of Ridgeview Elementary School where the oldest daughter attends. The younger two are very lucky to be looked after by both grandmothers while Samantha works. This summer Samantha plans to spend a lot of time with the girls by Grandma Weber's pool!
